Data skills test

Class A drug use is on the decline in the UK according to figures from the Home Office.  The number of people that have taken drugs this year between ages 16 and 59 has been the lowest on record since 1996.  Even Cannabis has decreased in used by 10 percent within the past 16 years.

The graft shows the drugs in percentage of use, and shows that cannabis is still the most popular used drug.  Methadone and Ketamine are new drugs that were not available throughout the 90's and therefore are the only drugs that have increased in popularity since 1996.

Popular party drug ecstasy has also dropped in numbers where as cocaine has also declined after the popularity of the drug rose in 2006.
